About monday.com

monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most forward-thinking teams. 250,000+ customers use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents onto one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-focused culture where you're empowered to shape how organisations work.

About the Group

Our Growth group is on a mission to turn visitors into paying customers and paying customers into passionate power users. We sit at the intersection of design and product strategy, running experiments, obsessing over metrics, and chasing the moment someone truly gets the value of monday.com.
monday's platform is going agentic, and onboarding is where people feel it first. You'll shape how someone experiences AI for the very first time, and set the tone for everything that follows.

About the Role

You'll be the main designer on the team working closely together with a PM, analyst and a team of engineers; working on onboarding and activation, so you need to be comfortable being the design voice in the room, driving the craft and interaction decisions yourself. Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • Bring design into planning. Contribute to roadmap and prioritisation decisions, flagging design effort, risk, and user experience before scope locks.

  • Shape the brief. Work with your PM to interrogate what's actually worth solving, bring your own point of view on direction, and set measurable success criteria before design begins.

  • Own end-to-end delivery, from discovery and research through to polished, shipped execution.

  • Use data to decide. A/B tests, product analytics, and user feedback inform your process, not just validate it after the fact.

  • Maintain standards and share what works. Hold the quality bar across your team's output, and when you land on a pattern worth reusing, bring it to designers beyond your immediate scope.

  • Spot opportunities. You don't wait for a brief to notice something worth improving, in the product, in a competitor, in a pattern the team hasn't tried yet. You bring a direction, not just an observation.

  • Own outcomes. Define success metrics with your team, track them after launch, and lead the design thinking when results don't move as expected.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years designing SaaS products, with a portfolio showing end-to-end ownership: research, experimentation, shipped work, and measurable outcomes.

  • AI as part of how you work. You use AI throughout your process, to prototype faster, sanity-check data, and speed up research synthesis. You know when to trust it, when to double-check it, and when to just do it yourself.

  • Exceptional interaction and visual design skills, with the craft to take work the last mile.

  • A natural storyteller through UI, you understand how users think and feel, and you design journeys that meet them where they are, especially in those critical first moments with a product.

  • Strong research instincts, generative research, usability testing, and iterative prototyping.

  • Proficient in Figma, with a curiosity for emerging AI design and prototyping tools, whether that's Cursor, Claude, or whatever's moving the craft forward.

  • You're equally at home with pixel-level craft and big-picture strategy, and you bring a data-informed mindset to everything you create.
