Job Title: Senior Analyst - Pricing
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 17.00 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits

The main purpose of the role is to improve Tandem’s pricing capability through analysis, modelling and controls, ultimately to support profit optimisation and delivery of long-term strategic plans.

This role will report to the Balance Sheet Manager and sit within the Treasury team. The role will work closely with the Financial Planning function and business lines (lending and funding). You will own and develop Tandem’s FTP calculation and Pricing Model and will contribute to analysis of performance against forecasts and budget plans.

As the Senior Analyst – Pricing at Tandem your focus will be on:
- Refining and Developing our Pricing modelling
- Regular delivery of pricing and performance analytics
- Developing and improving pricing processes and controls
- Reviewing and challenging pricing proposals from business lines
- Contributing to the development of budgets and strategic plans
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Have a strong background in pricing analysis & modelling in a banking environment.
- Have first rate Excel skills.
- Are delivery oriented, matching pragmatism with a can-do attitude.
- Can effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Can put together a decent presentation.
- Can be self-sufficient, you’ll be required to take ownership and won’t be micro managed.
- Have good commercial acumen, able to consider and call out inconsistencies, areas to focus on or opportunities to for improvements.
It would be great, but not essential if you have:
- Previous experience in pricing retail lending products (such as mortgages or auto-loans).
- Previous experience with SQL
- Understanding of products, commercial drivers and key competitors in some or all of Tandem’s key markets
- Savings
- Mortgages, first and second charge
- Motor finance
