Company: OneDome
Location: London
Reporting to: Marketing Director
We are seeking a hands-on, strategic PR & Communications Manager to own the narrative and drive OneDome’s market presence. This is a multifaceted role that balances external brand-building with internal culture-setting. You will be responsible for telling the OneDome story to the world - from tabloids to trade press - while ensuring our own people are engaged, informed, and aligned as we scale.
You will act as the custodian of our story, working to ensure that OneDome is synonymous with the future of home buying. You will work directly with our Founder and CMO to shape discussions, secure high-profile speaking opportunities, and build trust with consumers across the UK.
Key Responsible
- Lead the charge in defining and owning our new market sector. Move the conversation beyond "PropTech" to establish OneDome as the default reference point for the "Homeownership Platform" or "Housing Fintech" space.
- Build brand trust at a national level. Develop campaigns and narratives that resonate with homeowners, positioning OneDome as the symbol of simplicity, transparency, and control in the property market.
- Run live brand activation events to help us lead the story in an arresting way.
- Establish our Founder as a recognised industry voice. Proactively identify and secure speaking slots at tier-1 tech conferences, place them on influential podcasts, and insert them into relevant policy discussions regarding the future of home buying and high-growth tech businesses.
- Drive a continuous, positive narrative regarding our growth trajectory, innovation, and market potential, positioning OneDome as a definitive future unicorn within the UK tech landscape.
- Ensure that as the external narrative evolves, our teams across the OneDome Group are engaged, motivated, and aligned with our mission and milestones.
- Develop and refine the core pillars that OneDome has the authority to speak about. Ensure consistency of message across all external communications and internal channels.
- Build and execute a proactive communications strategy that spans the full media spectrum of business consumer and trade press, but with a focus on consumer.
- Own the internal comms strategy to keep employees across the Group informed and inspired. This includes drafting all-hands updates, managing internal announcements regarding company milestones, and fostering a culture of transparency and pride.
- Manage all founder-level communications, including ghost-writing speeches and bylines, managing a speaker bureau, and pitching for high-value podcast appearances.
- Collaborate internally to identify trends and data that can be transformed into compelling thought leadership content that supports the company narrative.
- Should we choose to augment the team with external support, you will lead the agency relationship, ensuring they are aligned with our internal strategy and delivering against KPIs.
- Proactively manage potential risks to the brand and advise the leadership team on reputational matters.
Skills & experience
- You have 7+ years of experience in PR/Communications, ideally with a significant portion spent in-house at a high-growth scale-up or at a lean agency representing challenger brands.
- You have a proven track record of generating high-impact, clickbait-style stories that run in the tabloid press. You know how to take a data set or a consumer insight and turn it into a headline that grabs the nation's attention (e.g., "UK homeowners wasting billions," or "The new postcode lottery of mortgage rates").
- You understand that trade press matters for industry credibility. You can balance the art of the mass-market splash with the nuance required to build reputation within the property and mortgage trade media.
- You recognise that employees are one of our most important audiences. You have experience building internal comms strategies that make teams feel connected and valued during periods of high growth.
- You don't just send press releases. You identify the narrative thread that turns a business milestone into a news story.
- You have existing relationships with national, business, tabloid, and trade journalists. You know how to get a founder on a podcast and in a room with the right people.
- Exceptional writing skills are non-negotiable. You can draft a speech, a byline, a pitch, and an internal company memo with equal fluency.
About OneDome
OneDome is a UK-based housing and fintech technology platform building an AI-powered platform to simplify life’s biggest financial decisions — from buying a first home to building and protecting long-term wealth.
The platform brings together property discovery, mortgage origination, legal and transaction services, insurance, and financial planning into a single, end-to-end digital experience. OneDome’s flagship HomeBuyer Service reimagines home ownership as a retail-style product, bundling everything required to purchase a home into one transparent, fixed-price offering. Beyond home purchases, the platform supports customers across the full lifecycle of home ownership and personal finance.
OneDome operates at scale, working with a nationwide network of over 500 mortgage brokers and arranging approximately $1.4 billion in mortgage volume per month, positioning the company among the largest housing and mortgage platforms in the UK.
The company is profitable and has been recognised for rapid, capital-efficient growth, including being ranked the 4th fastest-growing fintech and 17th fastest-growing technology company by the Deloitte Fast 50 in 2025, and the 6th fastest-growing tech company by the Sunday Times Tech 100 in 2026.
Backed by Channel 4 Ventures and family offices across the UK, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Australia, OneDome is building the next generation housing and fintech super-platform, replacing fragmented, manual processes with a modern, data-driven, AI-enabled consumer experience.
