As a Senior Performance Marketing Manager/Lead at Grover, you will own and elevate the performance marketing strategy and execution across paid media channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive acquisition, activation, and retention through innovative, data-driven campaigns, with a particular focus on Google Ads and  Paid Social. This role also offers you the opportunity to demonstrate initial leadership skills, mentoring and leading a small team of 1-2 members to start and align team efforts toward achieving Grover’s ambitious growth targets.

🎯 What you will contribute:

  • Take charge of Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping) and Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, others) campaigns, optimizing for both web and app performance
  • Develop, test, and iterate data-driven strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage cross-channel budgets, balancing spending efficiency with campaign impact and scalability
  • Partner with BI teams to leverage data insights and automate reporting processes for continuous performance tracking
  • Collaborate with external partners, including feed management platforms and agency support, to expand campaign capabilities and drive innovation
  • Work alongside brand, product, and category teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and enhance conversion rates throughout the funnel
  • Lead the creation and scaling of campaigns using multiple ad formats, including responsive ads, HTML5 creatives, video ads, and more
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging features in Google Ads, Paid Social platforms, and other performance marketing tools to ensure the latest techniques are integrated into campaigns
  • Mentor junior marketers, share best practices, and contribute to the development of team capabilities

🤝 What You Bring:

  • 3-6 years of performance marketing experience, with a strong track record of optimizing large-scale Google Ads and Paid Social accounts in fast-paced and agile environments
  • Initial leadership or team management experience is highly preferred, demonstrating a talent for mentoring or guiding peers toward shared goals
  • Knowledge of subscription-based or B2C e-commerce industries is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with app install campaigns and event optimization, alongside web-based campaign management
  • Strong analytical mindset, and proficiency with tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, and Tableau
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to balance a fast-paced “get-it-done” attitude with quality and detail orientation
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluency in English is essential; German proficiency (B2+) is a big plus
