The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior People Partner, joining our People team. In this role, you will focus on enabling and supporting Remote through extraordinary growth. As a Senior People Partner, you'll play a key role within the People team. You'll lead conversations on staff relations, assist our leaders, and create better programs and tools for our employees. You'll also be involved in shaping strategies that support and grow our workforce.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a strategic People Partner in a global, high-growth environment, ideally supporting 300+ employees in B2B SaaS or similar industries.
  • Solid track record of partnering with C-level or C-1 leaders, influencing with data, and aligning people strategies with business goals.
  • Able to manage complex employee issues confidentially and reliably. Skilled in leading through organizational changes.
  • Skilled in analyzing people metrics (e.g. attrition, engagement) to drive action and track impact of People initiatives.
  • Top-notch communicator with solid relationship-building skills across all levels and functions in a distributed, async-first setting.
  • Emotionally intelligent, solutions-focused, and able to thrive in ambiguity with a growth mindset.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Key responsibilities
  • Act as a partner, enabler, and coach to executive team throughout the organization, embedding people priorities into business planning and decision-making.
  • Lead core People initiatives (e.g. talent reviews, org design, succession, performance) while anticipating future workforce needs.
  • Identify and solve challenges proactively, using people data to inform decisions and partnering across functions to drive outcomes.
  • Own complex employee relations cases and offboarding processes in alignment with Remote’s values and global practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the People team to shape and implement global programs, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Mentor other team members, contribute to team development, and continuously reinforce Remote’s global and distributed culture.

We do not agree to or encourage cheap-labor practices and therefore we ensure to pay above in-location rates. We hope to inspire other companies to support global talent-hiring and bring local wealth to developing countries.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $82,000 USD - $120,000 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
