In this role, you will develop and implement communication strategies that meet contractual requirements for specific clients. You will build and maintain strong relationships with Operational Directors and Heads of Service to ensure seamless communication and engagement. - Hybrid working 1 day a week from our Leeds office. Frequent travel is also required to our various Capita sites including Ireland.
What will you deliver?
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on all aspects of communication and engagement to help achieve business goals Develop and deliver a communications strategy for the UK and Ireland operations that meets contractual client commitments and supports group, divisional and country specific requirements
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage and contain reputational risk
- Plan and execute change communications plans
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and joined-up approach to communications and engagement
- Produce high quality, engaging content for a variety of communications channels, including long-form, short-form and digital content
- Provide a reliable point of contact for all communication queries
- Monitor and evaluate communications and engagement activities and redefine to meet requirements as necessary
Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced, complex environment
- Authority and confidence to effectively challenge and influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong planning skills
- Proven track record in the delivery of high-impact communications and engagement to deliver desired business outcomes
- Proven track record in change communication
- Strong intuition to identify stories – both positive, and issues that could escalate and cause reputational damage
