ImpactAs a remote Senior Marketing Data Analyst located in Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, or Minneapolis, MN you will assist with cross-channel media performance analysis and reporting with the goal to partner across marketing for fast and accurate reporting. This role is responsible for driving analytics-based channel investment performance recommendations and influencing decisions throughout the organization.
While no two days are the same, you will lead and manage ad-hoc marketing analysis and reporting, integrating media marketing analytics tools and agency partner inputs. You will act as a Marketing SME of conceptualizing and developing data-driven, actionable business analysis to help solve business challenges across marketing channels. In this role, it's not only about data, but also telling the story, leveraging data and insights to inform action. You should expect high levels of interaction with the Owned, Media and Marketing Leadership team to provide updates on segment-level performance and optimization as well as close partnership with the Data Science organization. You will maintain vendor relationships to source data, refresh models, tighten data integrations for specific attribution models and build/support dashboard outputs. You will collaborate on testing opportunities to gain insights across channels and tactics to continually improve how we go to market. You will leverage market data to understand changes in competition and business performance, providing hand-on, real-time analysis and recommendations which may include securing buy-in on quick-turn optimizations.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or similar STEM field
  • You have 5 years of experience in strategic analytics
  • You have experience in working with a variety of data sources, such as DMP, DSP, ad server data
  • You have experience in Marketing Analytics
  • You have expertise in Tableau, Google Analytics, or similar digital analytics tool
  • You have experience in a consulting role or business advisory role
  • You have experience with creating marketing reports utilizing strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of Retail KPIs; capable of summarizing large amounts of quantitative data to build key messages and influence partners
  • You have excellent attention to detail and executive presence
  • You have experience developing relationships and driving influence
  • You understand marketing channels
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Employees (and eligible family members) are covered by medical, dental, vision and more.  Employees may enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, paid holidays throughout the calendar year and paid sick leave.  Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City: 

$112,000-$224,000

All other locations:

$93,000-$187,000

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
