What You'll Do as Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering - EMEA
As a Senior Manager in the EMEA Solutions Engineering team, you will lead a group of high-performing Specialist Solutions Engineers and Architects, reporting to the Director of Specialist Solution Engineering for EMEA. Your team partners closely with Field SEs, Sales, and Product teams to support complex customer opportunities, deliver technical expertise, and drive successful solution outcomes across a range of technologies.
You'll help your team bring technical depth to pre-sales engagements - supporting discovery, solution design, and demos-while also contributing to internal initiatives that improve how we serve our customers and scale our impact across the region. You'll play a hands-on role in day-to-day team management, coaching, and process improvement, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align on priorities and execution.
In this position, you'll help drive collaboration between the Solutions Engineering team and Product teams, ensuring customer feedback is channeled effectively and helping your team advocate for the needs of our EMEA customers. You'll also play a key part in building a healthy, inclusive team culture that emphasizes learning, curiosity, and shared success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of Specialist Solutions Engineers focused on high-impact customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with Field SEs to support pre-sales efforts including discovery, architecture, and product demonstrations.
  • Act as a technical coach and mentor, guiding team members in their growth and development.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to provide customer feedback, track feature needs, and ensure alignment with product direction.
  • Partner with regional sales leadership to align technical engagement strategy with revenue goals.
  • Help refine and scale internal processes related to knowledge sharing, enablement, and operational efficiency.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance development of team members.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales leadership role, with at least 8 years in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong track record of managing or mentoring SEs or Solutions Architects.
  • Experience working in or with high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Familiarity with pre-sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Solution Selling, or similar frameworks.
  • Ability to work across functions and influence without authority.
  • Hands-on experience in domains such as cybersecurity, networking, or cloud infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

Bonus Points:
  • Public speaking or industry thought leadership experience.
  • A passion for emerging technologies and driving innovation.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability is key.
