Job Summary  

The Product and Technology (P&T) Operations Manager is a strategic and operational partner to the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic planning, and effective governance across the Product & Technology (P&T) organisation at Poppulo. 
 
This role ensures that Product & Technology operates efficiently, is aligned to company strategy, and is supported by robust financial, people, and business planning processes. The role plays a critical part in enabling leadership decision-making through high-quality reporting, Board materials, and the implementation of best practices across P&T.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Own and continuously improve P&T operational cadence, governance, and ways of working. 
  • Partner with the CPTO and leadership team on P&T strategy development through facilitation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Process and preparation of Board materials 
  • Manage preparation of P&T materials for Board and Executive Leadership Team meetings. 
  • Develop and maintain executive and Board-level reporting on roadmap delivery, operational performance metrics, financialsrisks and M&A activities 
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and success metrics tracking the cascade of overall P&T goals through the organisation 
  • Manage financial and headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment tracking for the P&T Technology organization. 
  • Partner with Finance and People teams on headcount planning, capacity modelling, and workforce strategy. 
  • Lead P&T overall Employee Engagement plans working closely with P&T Leadership to respond to Pop:Voice surveys and achieve P&T Engagement targets 
  • Manage P&T risk management, tracking and reporting to the P&T and Poppulo Risk Committees 
  • Work with the Engineering Operations team and the Engineering Council to deliver the P&T VCP Plan including driving adoption of best practices, tools, and frameworks to improve P&T effectivenessproductivity and scalability. 
  • Manage P&T overall Performance Review cycle working closely with P&T Leadership including arranging and facilitating benchmark sessions 
  • Manage P&T input to ongoing M&A Integration plans 
  • Identify and Manage continuous improvement initiatives across P&T operations. 

Technical Skills / Competencies

  • Strong experience in Product, Technology, or Business Operations roles
  • Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into executive insights. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including Board-level material preparation. 
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. 
  • 8+ years experience in operations, strategy, or planning roles within a technology or SaaS environment. 
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership and preparing Board-level content. 
  • Strong understanding of product development and software delivery environments.
