As the Technical Lead for the MAPP Navigator team, you will drive the end-to-end architecture strategy for the MAPP program-encompassing technology, business processes, data, security, and solution design-while ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to privacy and data protection requirements.
In this role, you will need to work collaboratively and negotiate with individuals outside your direct authority to achieve the business strategy.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of the MAPP application, integrations, infrastructure built on Appian
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Global Information Security teams to ensure technical implementations are aligned to enterprise standards and strategic direction.
- Guide development teams on technology, data, security and application architecture in cohesion with overall strategy, technical standards and evolution of the solution architecture
- Ensure development team is building reusable and scalable components in accordance with best practices.
- Ensure platforms comply with security and data governance frameworks, and address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor and coach technical team members (e.g., developers)
- Maintain a pulse on industry developments in architecture to ensure Pfizer's architecture addresses future needs
- Identify platform improvement opportunities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 9+ years of Agile software development experience, including specific architect (or similar) experience
- History of making architecture decisions for large enterprise level applications and a track record of success in defining architecture artifacts for complex solutions
- Experience in architecting back and front-end solutions with multiple types of architecture
- Strong understanding of data architecture, security frameworks, and technology trends.
- Familiarity with integration technologies such as RESTful services.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of on-premise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, Cloudfare and firewalls, and enterprise architecture principles and frameworks around on-premise networking.
- Deep knowledge of application design, process modeling, data management, user interfaces, and integrations.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure setup and maintenance
- Knowledge of UNIX operating systems, including shell scripting, database maintenance, and application/platform performance monitoring and reporting
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable solutions using AWS Cloud infrastructure, including microservices architecture and cloud-native capabilities
- Experience mentoring technical teams and influencing cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Broad knowledge of corporate enterprise systems.
- Appian experience
- Exposure to AI platforms and solution
