About the Role: The Senior Manager of Capacity Finance will be a key strategic partner to the Chief Operating Officer and the entire CoreWeave capacity planning team. This role is responsible for leading all financial capacity, CapEx, and infrastructure cost planning, leading ongoing finance operations for capacity management, and providing strategic analysis to support the capacity planning organization. This role will be a critical leader to ensure proper governance over infrastructure investments and support leadership in these decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis process for the capacity planning organization, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • CapEx Planning: Drive the weekly, monthly, and quarterly processes to ensure alignment and proper governance on all compute, storage, and networking infrastructure investments.  
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with capacity leadership to provide strategic analysis capacity deployments and cost optimization.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the proper financial controls on all compute, storage, and networking infrastructure investments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including engineering, product, and operations to support overall business goals.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the cloud capacity planning space.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance

The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $149,000 to $198,000 and $178,000 to $238,000. accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
