Senior Management Accountant
In a nutshell
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Management Accountant to join our collaborative Finance team at Yonder. This is a high-impact role reporting to the Financial Controller, responsible for preparing management accounts across our global offices in London and New York. You’ll play a vital part in our finance function, partnering with teams across the business, supporting budgeting processes, and leading on month-end close. You’ll also manage and mentor an Assistant Management Accountant and support the wider Operations team in driving financial efficiency and insight.
Your skills & experience
You are a confident, detail-oriented finance professional with solid experience in either agency or in-house roles. You’re either fully or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and bring technical accounting strength, proficiency in Excel (including pivots, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs), and ideally, familiarity with Paprika.
You have a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, payroll, VAT, and reconciliations, and are confident producing high-quality management accounts. Your leadership style is supportive and collaborative—you’re happy mentoring others, setting high standards, and proactively contributing to business success.
You build trusted relationships with stakeholders, delivering insights and solutions with clarity and commercial acumen. You understand the bigger picture, have a curiosity about how the business operates, and collaborate effectively across teams.
The role
This is a dynamic, hands-on role, suited to someone who thrives on ownership and variety. You’ll manage and deliver the full month-end process across multiple international entities, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and support financial audits. You'll partner closely with cost centre managers, helping them stay aligned to budgets and providing clear reporting and commentary on performance.
You’ll also support budgeting and quarterly reforecasting, consolidating data across departments and liaising with leaders to understand their financial needs. Mentoring the Assistant Management Accountant will be key, as will contributing to a strong, values-driven team culture.
