Job Summary:
As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect in the in the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust cybersecurity solutions for modern cloud-based applications. You will identify and communicate risks, propose mitigation strategies, and deliver architecture solutions across multiple technical areas. Your expertise will support project goals and drive innovation within various business functions. You will foster a collaborative team culture and help shape the future of cybersecurity at JPMorganChase.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide evaluation of current cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls
  • Lead assessment of new technologies using established standards and frameworks
  • Influence peers and decision-makers to adopt advanced solutions
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate risk analysis and control assessment
  • Validate AI outputs and handle data according to sensitivity and security requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
  • Work with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
  • Advocate for firm-wide frameworks, tools, and practices within the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Drive reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation in SDLC routines
  • Improve control testing, remediation quality, and traceability in line with resiliency expectations


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in cybersecurity architecture concepts and advanced applied experience 
  • Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls
  • Demonstrated use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support cybersecurity workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
  • Ability to assess and validate AI-assisted security recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and ensure outcomes align with security, resiliency, and auditability expectations
  • Advanced expertise in one or more programming languages and/or applications
  • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes within one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, AI/ML, mobile)
  • Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions for future state architecture


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience working in global financial environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud security and AI/ML security practices
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools
