Senior Integration Specialist - Finance Systems (d/f/m)

This position is office-based (hybrid work model) in one of the following locations: Munich, Berlin, London, Dublin or Amsterdam.
We enable the rapid but sustainable growth of Personio and ensure the financial health, legal stability, and strategic direction-setting of the organization. We are seeking a highly motivated System Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in evolving our finance system landscape and processes and thus contribute directly to Personio’s growth journey.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do:

Integrations: Build, improve and manage different interfaces between existing business systems (e.g. Salesforce, Chargebee, Workday and others) to best serve functional needs

System Architecture: Enable a scalable and resilient architecture that serves as an amplifier of digital programs throughout the organization

Data Governance: Implement our data integration strategy between multiple tools, making sure data structures can be consumed by multiple stakeholders

Reporting: Create new custom reports involving complex logic and calculations

Continuous Automation: Assist the functional finance teams by continuously driving automation and addressing process inefficiencies

Documentation: Ensure data flows and finance processes are documented in a structured manner and aligned with internal guidelines

Project Management: Coordinate external service providers to ensure on-time and in-budget deliverables
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed:

You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar

At least 5 years experience in designing, building and testing integrations between cloud-based business systems for human resources, finance or planning (e.g. SAP S/4Hana, Oracle Netsuite, Workday or similar)

Experience with web services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST or similar)

Hands-on experience with XMLs/XSLTs and are familiar with SQL (regardless of flavour)

Writing code in Java or Python, Go or Typescript comes easy, and you are familiar with or workflow tools (e.g. via Airflow or Luigi)

You have an affinity for system design and data, good analytical skills and a structured and independent way of working

You show a high willingness to continuously and actively develop your knowledge

You are business proficient in English. German and any other European language are nice-to-have
