We are seeking a Senior HR & Facilities Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Uxbridge, England office.
Job Summary
The Sr. HR & Facilities Manager, International is a hands-on, consultative, and multi-dimensional role, leading and managing HR initiatives and strategies across our UK, Southern Europe, and Australia operations. The Sr. Manager will be involved in benefits administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and onboarding. This position will work closely with senior leadership to align HR practices with business goals, ensuring a high-performance culture and fostering employee engagement. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing our UK office facility. This position is hybrid, with 3-days a week in Imprivata's UK office, reporting to the Chief People Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research, benchmark, develop, and administer competitive employee benefit programs for international employees, in partnership with local service providers. Ensure programs align and comply with local employment laws, maintain related records, document and update procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day benefit administration - respond to employee issues, change reporting, invoice auditing, payment approvals, and communicate benefit information to employees.
  • Participate in the administration of Imprivata's global wellness program.
  • Oversee and administer employee leave of absence requests - work very closely with service providers as needed to ensure that all leaves are communicated and processed according to country regulations and company policies.
  • As a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, provide guidance on complex HR issues, support performance management, disciplinary actions, grievance processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Align with the global employee experience team to implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, employee reviews, and feedback cycles, to drive employee development and business success.
  • Conduct regular 1-1 meetings with respective business heads.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and wellbeing.
  • In partnership with the training & development and employee experience teams, identify training needs for teams and individuals.
  • Participate in recruitment and talent acquisition strategies and interview candidates to ensure the organization attracts top talent.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UK and other international employment laws, health & safety regulations, and other applicable standards. Stay current on legal requirements and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Promote a positive work environment that encourages open communication and inclusivity.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on HR data trends, ensuring continuous improvement in HR practices.
  • Manage third-party partners including local service providers, benefit brokers, system vendors, and other consultants.
  • Participate in the development and execution of new hire orientation and onboarding, including preparing materials and delivering the company overview and employee benefits.
  • Partner with CPO to write policies, procedures, and processes. Maintain the UK Employee Handbook.
  • Attend HR leadership and team meetings, participate in developing HR department goals and objectives.
  • Drive Diversity & Inclusion initiatives within the international community and the organization.
  • Manage the UK office facility - liaison with building management, ensure facility needs are met, oversee local supply vendors and ongoing office and kitchen purchasing.
  • Oversee all office events, meetings, and local functions.
  • Maintain office standard operating procedures handbook.
  • Oversee International travel program including employee communications, vendor relationships, billing and on-line tool adoption.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline. CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Level 7 qualification or equivalent HR qualification is highly desirable.
  • 7+ years of senior HR and facilities experience with a proven track record in HR strategy, employee relations, UK employment law, and international benefits in EMEA and APAC.
  • Experience with global best practices, current trends, and market benchmarks in the tech industry.
  • Experience within a multi-site international environment a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage programs and projects with minimal guidance.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven track record of driving HR projects and initiatives.
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, energetic, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High degree of confidentiality and integrity, discretion and ability to deal appropriately with confidential data.
  • Must be proficient with various computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
