Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
Lead finance business partnering and commercial decision support for one or more regions or business functions to drive financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and ensure long-term profitability.
Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to provide senior stakeholders with actionable insights for cost optimization and business growth.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners and business analysts to ensure accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with both short-term business objectives and long-term strategic goals.
  • Partner with regional and global business leaders to deliver actionable financial insights, providing recommendations to improve business performance and optimize costs.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models, including scenario analysis and business case development, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive profitability analysis and cost optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and maximize return on investment across key business functions.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance on strategic projects, such as capital investments, pricing strategies, and market entry initiatives.
  • Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and monthly financial reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and supply chain, to improve overall financial performance and drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, financial excellence, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Finance, Business Administration, Accounting Degree
  • ACCA/CIMA qualifications as an additional advantage.

Experience:

  • Strong post qualification experience in finance partnering & controlling for a business unit within a multi-cultural environment
  • Background in Business Partnering (preferred) or Group controlling or FP&A
  • Proven Leadership experience.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills & relationship building skills
  • High level of influencing skills & ability to communicate effectively on all levels
  • Highly developed self-organisational skills and ability to structure tasks and projects
  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions
  • Results-oriented analytical approach.
  • Excellent Knowledge in MS Office applications and financial systems required ( SAP, BW, Power BI ).

Languages: English

Desirable: Another EU language
