As a Senior Environment Artist at CIG, you will be joining a team responsible for creating all the amazing locations in the game. Star Citizen is a universe filled with solar systems, each of which are filled with diverse locations all of which the player can seamlessly fly down to from space and explore on foot.
You will be responsible for creating high quality hard surface locations for Star Citizen, this could be anything from a Space Station in low orbit around a planet to a cityscape located on a planet. The art pillars of the game are Cinematic Sci-Fi Realism, so you will be creating believable architectural kits in a range of architectural styles and building locations which will inspire players and take their breath away.

What does a Senior Environment Artist at CIG do?
- Create believable environments which are rich in detail and will inspire the player to explore.
- Create photorealistic architectural kits and props.
- Work closely with the Art Lead and Art Director to make sure the artistic vision is coming to life.
- Collaborate with other departments to help create the best experience possible.
What do we expect from our Senior Environment Artists?
- Someone who is passionate about creating inspirational environments.
- Experience in creating photorealistic artwork or in the sci-fi genre.
- Understanding key aspects of the discipline like modelling, shading and lighting.
- Someone who loves to be part of a passionate team and is able to communicate effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to more junior team members.
