Order Management Director

Overview

The Order Management Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end operations of Retailer accounts globally. This role will lead a team of operations professionals to ensure we deliver the best service at the lowest cost through seamless supply chain management, logistics, fulfillment, and order management to achieve strategic business objectives. The Senior Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do (RESPONSIBILITIES):

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

    • Develop and implement the operations strategy for the retailer account, aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
    • Develop and utilize Operations Metrics Scorecard to measure ongoing performance of all retailers.
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and the commercial group to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within retailer landscape.
    • Lead Operations agenda as part of the EMEA Growth HII Focus on Operations Initiatives (high impact initiative).
    • Lead monthly Operations SCR, including Operations Metrics Scorecard, Inventory status, direct import status, path to $0 shortages, and updates on all key initiatives that drive service at reduced cost while focused on global standardization.
    • Be the face of SharkNinja Operations to Retailer facing leadership (internal and external)

Service:

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve on time and in full shipping, which will improve chargebacks.
    • Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve escalated issues and implement preventive measures.
    • Create relationships with retailers’ Operations groups to drive mutual initiatives to drive efficiencies and reduce costs.

Operations Management:

    • Oversee the entire supply chain and order to cash processes.  This includes inventory management, direct import, distribution, drop ship, and chargebacks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
    • Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    • Work with suppliers and partners to ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability.

Logistics and Fulfillment:

    • Influence global logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment centers, to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
    • Drive initiatives to improve order accuracy, delivery speed, and customer satisfaction.
    • Utilize data analytics to monitor and optimize logistics performance and reduce shortages, addressing any bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
    • Partner with procurement for ongoing transportation negotiations with the spirit of being relentless at driving cost out.

Financial Management:

    • Partner with FP&A and Sales to develop and manage SharkNinja’s OPS P&L, ensuring cost control and profitability.
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team, providing insights and recommendations.

Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards, including those related to quality, and environmental sustainability.
    • Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in the regulatory landscape, adjusting strategies as needed.


Here are some of the things you'll bring (Requirements):

    • Demonstrated functional knowledge and experience in successfully running all aspects of operations: Order Management, Logistics, Distribution, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Business Process and S&OP.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
    • Successful track record building infrastructure and implementing processes for a rapidly growing company.
    • Experience and understanding of global supply chain dynamics and considerations.
    • Proven experience in using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to achieve specific strategic results that are relevant to the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to develop, measure and improve key performance indicators, resulting in improved service at lower cost and lower working capital.
    • An entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in a dynamic, fun, fast-paced environment.
    • A team oriented and collaborative approach. Proven results in building effective long-term relationships at all levels, internally and externally, and going the extra mile for customers.
    • Experience building new teams and leading remote team members.
    • Proven experience leading and influencing cross functional partners to deliver business results.
    • Unpretentious confidence. Communicate transparently – listen actively and speak respectfully.
    • Ability to communicate for impact, both in writing and verbally.
    • A strong work ethic and an unrelenting resolve to follow through and meet commitments.
    • A demonstrated willingness to learn, roll-up their sleeves and set an example for the team as a “doer.”
