About the Opportunity
Become part of the Ninetailed Team, pioneer of composable personalization and experimentation within the Contentful.
We are expanding our analytics capabilities and are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) to design, deploy, and operate the infrastructure that powers data and ML workloads.
This role is a blend of DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps, ensuring that data pipelines, ML models, and application infrastructure are scalable, reliable, and secure. You will play a critical role in enabling the team by building and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems to support the development and deployment of analytics and ML solutions.
What to Expect?
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) to support data pipelines, ML models, and applications
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies
- Ensure scalability and resilience of infrastructure, optimizing for performance and cost efficiency
- Enhance observability by implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting to maintain system reliability
- Improve security and compliance by following cloud security best practices and ensuring data protection
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Fullstack Developers to integrate DevOps and MLOps best practices
- Automate workflows and infrastructure management to improve Developer Experience (DX) and operational efficiency
What you need to be successful
- Several years of experience in DevOps, MLOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
- Proven track record of deploying and operating cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with data and ML workflows in production environments
- Strong scripting skills for automation and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
- Security awareness, including best practices for IAM and compliance frameworks
