The Impact You’ll Make
As our Senior Data Engineer, you will be the engine behind the data that powers Incode’s identity verification intelligence. Your work will ensure every model, insight, and decision is built on a foundation of trustworthy, real-time, high-quality data. You will architect the pipelines that scale with our growth, automate the systems that keep our platform resilient, and shape how data flows across every product and customer interaction.

What You’ll Own & Drive
- Data Automation & Quality
- Automate data extraction from diverse external sources to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and reliability.
- Build automated quality-control and verification systems that safeguard the integrity of all incoming data.
- Pipeline Architecture & Scalability
- Design, build, and manage scalable pipelines leveraging Apache Kafka for real-time and batch data processing.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines in AWS Redshift to power analytical reporting and business insights.
- Data Platform Evolution
- Support, enhance, and modernize our core data infrastructure to meet the needs of a fast-growing identity platform.
- Champion best practices in data engineering, contributing to the technical direction of our data systems.
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate closely with Machine Learning, Backend, Product, and Data Analytics teams to ensure data is reliable, discoverable, and actionable.
- Translate business needs into scalable data solutions that unlock new product capabilities.

- Architect-Level Thinker - You design data systems that are durable, scalable, and optimized for both real-time and analytical workloads.
- Automation-First Builder - You look for every opportunity to eliminate manual processes and build systems that run with precision and resilience.
- Technically Fluent - You bring strong programming chops (Python or similar), advanced SQL abilities, and deep experience with ETL frameworks like Airflow or Luigi.
- Cloud-Native Operator - You’ve worked extensively with AWS (or similar cloud platforms) and understand how to build secure, scalable data solutions in the cloud.
Your Background
- Proven experience designing and implementing architectures for data analytics platforms.
- Strong proficiency with ETL tools such as Airflow or Luigi.
- Solid programming experience in Python or equivalent languages.
- Advanced SQL expertise, including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or comparable cloud ecosystems.
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in technical, product, or data-driven teams.
- Passion for learning and exploring complex domains such as identity verification.
- Excellent communication skills, with a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
