Mō te tūranga | About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our Performance Excellence team on a fixed-term contract until August 2027.

You'll help improve how knowledge is shared across Westpac through KnowHow, our internal knowledge platform. Working with stakeholders across the business, you'll create clear, user-friendly content that helps people find information, make decisions and get things done.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create and improve clear, easy-to-use content.

  • Simplify complex information for employees.

  • Keep content accurate, relevant and up to date.

  • Champion plain language and accessibility.

  • Lead content reviews and improvement initiatives.

  • Use insights and feedback to improve content effectiveness.

  • Support content discovery through search and AI-enabled tools.

  • Help shape content and knowledge management practices across Westpac.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

You'll be an experienced content professional who can turn complex information into simple, engaging content. You'll enjoy collaborating with stakeholders and be passionate about improving how knowledge is shared.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in content design, UX writing, communications, knowledge management or a related field.

  • Strong writing, editing and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience creating content for digital or knowledge platforms.

  • A customer-focused mindset and passion for plain language.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and drive improvements.

  • Curiosity, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience in banking, financial services or another regulated industry would be an advantage.
