This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s Corporate Office locations in Scottsdale, Arizona or Beverly Hills, California with the possibility of being fully remote.

Discovery Land Company is seeking a full-time Senior Compensation Analyst to join the Human Resources Department.

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals. This role will conduct market research, analyze job classifications, and manage data related to compensation. This role will also provide guidance on compensation policies and practices and may participate in the design and implementation of incentive plans.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Researching compensation trends and benchmarking company pay practices against market data. 

  • Analyzing jobs, wages, and incentives to assess internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance. 

  • Developing competitive salary structures and maintaining competitive wages and salaries. 

  • Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to ensure the organization can attract and retain high-quality employees. 

  • Providing guidance to HR business partners and department administrators on compensation-related issues. 

  • Assisting in the evaluation and design of compensation programs, including base salaries, salary structures, and bonuses.

  • Updating our market pricing tool, Payfactors on a monthly basis.

  • Handle and execute other compensation-related duties and special projects as assigned to support business needs and overall goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience with a focus on Compensation.

  • Workday experience is a must.

  • Payscale/Payfactors experience a plus.

  • Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to understand and relate to multiple stakeholders from various disciplines within the business (Operations, Finance etc.).

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with other MS Office programs.

  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to think critically, with ability to research and analyze various types of data.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.

  • Create ad-hoc compensation reports.

The compensation for the position is: $95,000-$115,000 + Bonus.
