Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our JLT Public Sector Team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in Hobart, TAS office.

JLT act as the Fund Administration Agent (FAA) for the Tasmanian Risk Management Fund, we provide a comprehensive approach to managing the insurable liabilities of inner Budget agencies. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional services through effective claims management and executive account stewardship.

Your role is to perform all administrative functions required in the claims process for all workers compensation claims, ensuring you deliver positive outcomes for the client and in line with the business objectives and agreed performance indicators

We will count on you to:

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from lodgment to finalisation.
  • Process claims payments and follow up on invoices to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure accurate claims processing and administration, including file closures.
  • Provide administrative support as required to service the Fund effectively.
  • Collaborate with the in-house Claims Management Team to deliver positive outcomes.

What you need to have:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in the workers compensation industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously within a multi skilled team
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.

  • Knowledgeable on Workers Compensation Act – Tasmania, and Workers Compensation Claims Handling.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
