What You’ll Do:
- Lead strategic data initiatives that directly impact product decisions and business outcomes
- Design and establish data modeling standards and governance frameworks
- Architect, implement, and optimize robust data infrastructure and pipelines for scalable data operations
- Serve as the authoritative data subject matter expert across the organization
- Collaborate with AI engineers to design data structures optimized for machine learning applications
- Develop sophisticated analytics and visualization solutions to deliver actionable business intelligence
What We’re Looking for:
- 7+ years of combined experience in data engineering and analytics roles, with demonstrated expertise in both areas
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade data architectures
- Strong background in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics methodologies
- Demonstrated success translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Superior communication skills with ability to influence decision-making at all organizational levels
- Advanced dbt knowledge with proven experience building and maintaining production dbt models
- Expert-level SQL skills and strong proficiency with Python for complex data manipulation
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their enterprise data services
- Deep knowledge of data transformation patterns and best practices
- Understanding of MLOps and the data requirements for production AI systems
