Senior Analyst, Legal Compliance Advisory
The Senior Analyst - Compliance Advisory will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements and providing expert compliance advice. This role involves monitoring regulatory developments, advising on compliance implications, supporting audits, delivering training, and contributing to strategic compliance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments across AML, Sanctions, and Consumer Protection domains.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance leads to assess applicability of new regulations and propose updates to the AML Program.
- Maintain a regulatory change log and contribute to the horizon scanning schedule.
- Support internal advisory queries, providing guidance on compliance implications of new products, markets, and business initiatives.
- Liaise with Global Compliance and regional MLROs to align on risk assessments and policy interpretations.
- Support the drafting and review of compliance policies, procedures, and risk assessments, including country-specific and thematic reviews.
- Support internal and external audits, including distributor audits and issuer oversight program and track remediation actions and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the QA program across compliance activities.
- Assist in the design and delivery of compliance training sessions, including CPD initiatives and jurisdiction-specific modules.
- Curate and share industry updates, best practices, and case studies to enhance team knowledge.
- Maintain oversight of compliance mailbox and triage advisory requests appropriately.
- Support monthly reporting cycles, including data collation and commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing compliance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.
- Strong knowledge of AML, Sanctions, Conduct, and Consumer Protection regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and advisory skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in compliance management tools and software.
