Job Summary
At Kenes Group, we don’t just organize conferences—we build platforms that drive change, spark ideas, and cultivate engaged communities. With 60 years of global conference management experience, we launched Kenes Original Events—our home for independently developed event brands that sit at the intersection of knowledge, impact, and experience.
Our flagship event, SPORTECH, is a prime example. It brings together leaders from the worlds of sport, tech, and innovation into one bold and dynamic ecosystem.
We are now looking for a Senior Account Manager to take these initiatives even further.
This is not a sales or traditional account management role. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strategic mindset, and a builder’s mentality—someone who can turn a concept into a brand.

Whether your background is in strategy, innovation, marketing, partnerships, or community building—you’ve done things differently, and you’ve made ideas happen. You’re a connector, a storyteller, and an orchestrator of meaningful initiatives. This role will allow you to lead projects end-to-end, from ideation through execution, and make a measurable impact.
Your Responsibilities
Business & Strategy
  • Lead the strategic development of new and existing event brands: define vision, brand identity, revenue models, and growth opportunities
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify untapped opportunities and whitespace
  • Develop clear go-to-market and content strategies for new events
Partnerships & Ecosystem Building
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders: partners, thought leaders, communities, and content contributors
  • Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders—aligning event content and structure with mutual value and long-term goals
 End-to-End Project Ownership
  • Own the full life cycle of each event: from budgeting and planning to execution and performance measurement
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, content, sponsorship) to ensure excellence in delivery
  • Oversee brand messaging, audience engagement, and program curation
 Thought Leadership & Impact
  • Act as an internal ambassador for innovation and strategy within Kenes
  • Represent the company externally—at industry events, community meetups, or partner forums
  • Contribute to shaping the future of Kenes Original Events through continuous learning and experimentation

What You Bring
Background & Experience
  • Native or near-native English is essential; additional languages are an advantage
  • 3–5 years of experience in strategic project management, innovation, brand building, community leadership, or long-term client/partner relations
  • Experience working in or around the tech/innovation ecosystem is essential
  • A background in the sports sector is a strong plus (personally or professionally)
  • Demonstrated ability to launch initiatives, programs, or communities from scratch
Skills & Mindset
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, and independent—comfortable owning and building projects end-to-end
  • Excellent interpersonal and storytelling skills
  • Strategic thinker with a sharp eye for trends, business models, and meaningful experiences
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management or CRM tools is a plus
