The Role
As a Security Engineer at Capco, you’ll be hands-on in designing and implementing secure cloud and on-premise solutions for our financial services clients. You’ll support security initiatives across engineering teams, contribute to secure development practices, and play a key role in automating threat detection and compliance activities.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement cloud and infrastructure security strategies
Integrate security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning) into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with development teams to embed secure coding practices
Conduct vulnerability assessments, code reviews, and network security audits
Contribute to data protection strategies including encryption, tokenization, and masking
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge of application security tools such as CheckmarxOne, Prisma Cloud, or similar
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and secure cloud design principles
Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and container security scanning
Familiarity with data security principles and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP
Programming experience in Python, Java, or Go
Bonus Points For
Relevant certifications (e.g., CSSLP, CompTIA Security+, cloud-specific certs)
Understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD automation in secure environments
Experience conducting code reviews and threat modelling exercises
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Interest in mentoring or knowledge sharing within teams
