Job Title: Salesforce Solution Architect (Communications Cloud)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with expertise in Salesforce Communications Cloud to design and implement robust, scalable solutions tailored to the telecommunications and communications industries. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including CPQ, Order Management, and Omni-Studio, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture:

  • Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Communications Cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

  • Architect scalable and secure solutions for product catalog management, order orchestration, CPQ, and contract lifecycle management.

  • Define system architecture, including data models, integrations, and workflows, ensuring consistency across Salesforce instances.

  • Work with cross-functional solution architects to deliver elegant solutions beyond the Salesforce ecosystem.

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the technical design process, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.

  • Provide architectural oversight for complex implementations, including custom development and third-party integrations.

  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce standards and governance policies.

Omni-Studio Expertise:

  • Utilize Omni-Studio components, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, FlexCards, and Integration Procedures, to build efficient, user-centric interfaces and workflows.

  • Optimize Omni-Studio solutions for performance and maintainability, incorporating advanced features and techniques.

System Integration:

  • Design and implement seamless integrations between Salesforce and external systems such as OSS/BSS, billing platforms, and payment gateways.

  • Ensure accurate data flow and synchronization across multiple systems using APIs and middleware solutions like MuleSoft or Boomi.

  • Address complex integration challenges and ensure a cohesive ecosystem for all connected applications.

Project Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Lead solution design workshops and technical discussions with cross-functional teams.

  • Mentor and guide development teams to implement architectural blueprints effectively.

Data and Process Optimization:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data models supporting Communications Cloud processes.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance system performance, and improve user experience.

  • Implement best practices for data management, security, and compliance within Salesforce.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory and industry standards, including data protection, security, and audit requirements.

  • Address potential risks in system design and provide mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, with 3+ years as a Solution Architect.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud, including CPQ and order management capabilities.

  • Proven track record of architecting and delivering Salesforce solutions for telecommunications or subscription-based industries.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data models, APIs, security, and automation tools.

  • Proficiency in Omni-Studio tools, Salesforce Flows, and custom development (Apex, LWC).

  • Expertise in system integration, using platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Apigee.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce certifications, such as System Architect, Application Architect, or Communications Cloud Consultant.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Copado).

  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and tools like Jira.

  • Experience with analytics platforms like Tableau CRM or Einstein Analytics.
