The Opportunity:

To work at the University's only Visitor Centre and official gift shop in the central campus. You'll be a joining an existing team of fellow students and will be supervised by experienced retail professional colleagues. It is a lively and positive environment where the key focus is on providing help and a warm welcome to all visitors to the University. 

This role is part-time (14 hours per week) with a start date in October 2026. 

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Recent previous experience in retail and dealing with customers is essential.
  • Friendly, courteous & always willing to help.
  • Attention to detail and fully computer literate.
  • Working knowledge of the University, its campuses and the city.
  • Have initiative particularly in managing own workload.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills.
