As a Sales Account Manager, you'll be involved in customer-facing and winning deals for IET Business. You are to develop sales plan for the SSA region. You are also tasked to collaborate with another functional team to ensure sales targets are met accordingly.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating in negotiations on strategic or complex agreements and providing support for mergers and acquisitions
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with required external and internal interfaces to ensure that customer requirements are understood and being achieved
- Looking to extend existing client relationships at both the site and corporate level through well-rounded account management activities
- Assisting with the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase sales and profits through major accounts.
- being available to travel to global locations to work with customers and regional teams when required ~20%
- Networking and developing relationships with prospects & key industry stakeholders
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Have at least 4 years of experience in Sales, minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Account Sales.
- Be able to show a good general knowledge of the oil & gas industry
- Be proficient in using personal computers, Microsoft applications, Salesforce.com, etc
- Demonstrate experience in rotating equipment - gas turbines, compressors, pumps, valves, digital technology
- Demonstrate previous experience in sales or account management or similar client-facing role
- Be able to communicate fluently both in English and Portuguese.
