As a Risk Analyst you will be reporting to the Senior Manager Group Risk Data and be responsible for supporting the Group Risk team and the 1st line Credit Risk Portfolio team with their data, analytical and reporting requirements whilst supporting the management in delivering our project's requirements from a Risk perspective.
As a Risk Analyst you will:
- Produce the Group Risk team’s monthly reporting
- Work with other departments on risk-related reporting matters, including analysing data issues and correcting any reporting errors
- Ensure the availability and integrity of Quantitative Risk data at all times
- Provide support to the Senior Risk Manager on project-related activities
- Maintain high quality standards, ensuring data meets business requirements and is delivered within agreed timelines and formats
- Assist the Group Risk function in identifying key trends, emerging risks, and potential opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to share risk expertise and insights across the organisation.
- Uphold comprehensive governance, procedures, and documentation for risk data and reporting.
- Support the ongoing enhancement of risk management practices and the organisation’s risk appetite framework.
Essential:
- Numerical degree, strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience in a financial services environment
- A solid grounding in data analysis using quantitative analytical tools
- Strong drive for quality assurance and a proven track record in providing robust and accurate data and reporting
- SQL Coding
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience of using complex data
