The role

Reporting to the Head of Total Reward, the Reward Analyst will be an integral part of the Reward Center of Excellence in GoCardless. The role will act as a first point of contact for reward operations.  They will take ownership of pay analysis, support in the seamless delivery of our global equity plans and the annual pay review. The role will also work closely with the Reward Manager, who is responsible for the management of our key programs. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Reward Analyst with a strong track record of delivering on key reward initiatives to take on a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-energy team and further their career within a Centre of Excellence. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in equity and acquisition related activities during a period of significant change.

What excites you 

  • Key Reward Processes: You will work closely with the Head of Reward and Reward Manager in delivering key processes including: the annual pay review and incentive payouts, as well as external benchmarking submissions.
  • EU Pay Transparency Directive: You will take ownership of data collation and analysis; rolling out and managing key reward processes and supporting project management to ensure compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
  • Acquisition Activities:  You will support the Head of Reward and Reward Manager in any acquisition activities as and when required by the business.
  • Analytical Ownership: You will take ownership of all Reward analysis, reconciliation and auditing; acting as the internal owner for maintaining high data integrity across our People Team systems and tools.
  • Pay Ranges and Benchmarking:  You will be the first point of contact for pay range requests: conducting relevant benchmarking and utilising market data to  ensure pay ranges are maintained, reviewed and delivered in a timely manner, in line with the GoCardless Reward Philosophy.
  • Global Equity: You will support the Reward Manager in the administration of our global equity plans, including any relevant grants, and analysis on share holding. You will be a key superuser of our equity management platform (Carta), owning data integrity, user access and reporting requirements to the wider business.

  • Seasoned Reward Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in the compensation space, with a passion for Reward and the ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Strong Data Visualisation Skills: Experience using a range of tools (Google Workspace) to present complex data clearly, turning analysis into easily digestible insights for managers and stakeholders

Base salary range: £68,000 - £102,000 (gross)

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data.  Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point (£68,000 - £85,000 gross) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
