Job Description

   

The Role

Since its inception in 1992, SUSE has been at the forefront of technical innovation where change has been the only constant.

 

As an Inside Sales Representative the primary responsibility of the role is to renew software subscriptions of existing customers for an assigned portfolio, ensuring customer retention.

This will support business growth in line with our ambitious objectives and company culture. 

Critical to achieving excellent results will be maintaining strong relationships with customers and closely liaising with channel partners.

The role sits within the ISR function, reporting to the ISR Manager.


Focus Areas  

  • Manage the renewal process for SUSE products and services, ensuring that all renewals are completed in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external channel partners alike to ensure that the renewal process is streamlined and efficient.

  • Monitor customer accounts and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Provide regular reports on renewal performance and customer feedback to management.


Preferred Experience & Skills 

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Good understanding of the Open Source, Software Defined Infrastructure or Cloud market and related customer needs.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a sales team.

  • Ability to identify up- and cross selling opportunities within a customer account

  • Understanding of qualification methodologies (such as MEDDPICC).

  • Experience with working with CRM and sequencing tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach and Groove.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German.

  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritise tasks are essential for success in this role.
