Job Description

This is a hands-on marketing position for an experienced marketer to manage the regional marketing strategy execution working with the corporate marketing team. You will be the go-to person for local marketing requests, working closely with regional sales teams to support their sales activities, ensuring everything is properly planned, promoted and executed. You will closely collaborate with the central marketing team: providing briefs and presenting plans so that they can support your activities with necessary marketing materials and resources.

Key activities include:

  • Adopt a Regional Go-to-Market strategy for the local area, ensuring all activities are carried out to a high standard
  • Create, plan, and track various types of marketing campaigns
  • Complete competitor analysis - including global competitor presence in the region as well as local competitors
  • Ensure the VRP brand is represented according to our brand guidelines
  • Work closely with Sales teams to ensure all standards are adhered to - from time to time help in creating localized presentations
  • Act as the main point of contact from marketing for all regional departments
  • Help prepare and set up email campaigns and collaborate with regional lead gens/sales representatives: collect lists / support suitable content and images creation / liaise with marketing email team / track effectiveness / ensure timely follow up by sales team. 
  • Event organization: organize all in person and digital regional events, such as VRP business breakfasts / Partner events / Basecamps / Tradeshows / Webinars: prospect identification/message creation/case study alignment/event booking/multi-channel promotion/registration tracking/pre-during-post event lead gen management/follow up tracking/activity reporting with optimization recommendations.
  • Collaborate with our partners organizing joint events
  • Actively participate in regular marketing team meetings, both All Hands as well as individual task focus groupsMaintain professional knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, in particular new Salesforce products, marketing messaging, and the Salesforce Partner marketing portal. Ensure you regularly update your knowledge via Trailhead
  • Maintain and create case studies for the region
  • Identify and plan for award submissions

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements:

  • Experience in leading and coordinating marketing campaigns that generate leads
  • Previous marketing experience within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of the region, including current trends and market demands
  • Experience creating and running local events to create demand and awareness

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B marketing 
  • Experience in executing multi-channel campaigns
  • Experience in regional/global marketing
  • Proven track record in event organization
  • Marketing planning/execution/tracking exposure
  • Deep understanding of the digital/social media industry 
  • Google Workspace exposure
