Role Summary:

Raytheon Technologies is looking for a summer intern to join our Coyote Project team at the Abu Dhabi office. The Intern will be involved in a wide variety of engagements that will work closely with our function partners and leadership. This position will provide assistance in developing the REL Quality Management System.

Your Responsibilities:

The role is created for students with an interest in Quality Management Systems studies students with an interest in aimed at gaining experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment for a short period of time. Each student will be expected to use their own initiative and undertake self-directed learning within a supportive environment to work with the team to develop goals and objectives to further common areas of interest. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in conducting inspections and audits of production processes, products, and services to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of quality-related documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection reports, and audit findings.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of quality training programs for employees, helping to raise awareness of quality standards and best practices.
  • Support investigations into quality issues, including conducting root cause analysis and developing recommendations for preventive measures.
  • Monitor compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations, reporting any deviations and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Contribute to quality management projects, including new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the organization.
  • Provide feedback on existing processes and systems to improve efficiency and quality.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an emphasis in Quality Management Systems or a related field.
  • Student GPA should be (3+ out of 4) or (4+ out of 5).
  • An official university letter is required to be attached along with the CV.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across diverse organizations and teams.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English (both written and oral); must be able to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
  • Solid organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity in a diverse environment.
  • Experience working in a team to quickly address challenges, and work collaboratively to achieve the best for business outcome.
