Job Responsibilities:
Essential
- Leadership experience within a shopfloor manufacturing environment
- Understanding of manufacturing engineering with respect to one or more of these areas: die casting, metal forming, automated assembly, mechanisms, tooling fixtures and gauges.
- Understanding of Quality Tools (SPC, MSA, PPAP, Control plans, Process Flows, 8D Methodologies),
- Proficient in and learning the Business Operating Systems (IATF 16949)
- Clear communication skills and proven reporting at all levels of the business
Desirable
- Understanding of APQP and FMEA process
- Experience in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of MES or similar production systems
- Process knowledge (die castings, HT, CNC, Assembly operations)
