Role Summary:
The project manager is a resource in the Newark QRC responsible for supporting the DCIQ (Disassemble, Clean, Inspect & Quote) process as related to our Aftermarket offerings & managing Repair orders through to their conclusion.
This includes but is not limited to: Customer facing activities related to order acquisition/fulfilment processes including proposal development & submission based on DCI findings, scope review, pricing analysis, order processing and coordination with multiple internal & external stakeholders. The position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor

Your role:
- Review all customer inquiry related documents while addressing all relevant technical and commercial requirements directly provided by Flowserve or sub-suppliers.
- Develop DCI routers. Develop work scope routers using DCI inspection report and customer information/specifications. Develop job pricing based work scope routers, sub supplier feedback and parts pricing data
- Ensure sub-suppliers are compliant to technical specification and, when applicable, have had specific contract requirements passed down to them as appropriate
- Develop quotation using the job pricing information, scheduled component deliveries
- Review customer purchase order for alignment with Flowserve quotation. Resolve any difference prior to order acceptance
- Coordinate and manage sub supplier requests, replacement parts and components, labor estimates and quotations related to Aftermarket requests, including effectively negotiating terms and pricing
- Ensuring clean hand over of orders to the project coordination team, holding pass gate meeting if applicable
- Support ordering processing/project coordination as required.
- Manage the customer experience by acting as main point of contact for the order. Provide customer updates as requested.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for total project execution, performance, and safety (project initiation to project completion) on all assigned projects.
- Ensure all projects meet department & customer Key Performance Indicators to ensue company goals are met.
Your profile:
- Engineering related qualification (HNC or above) or significant related work experience.
- Background in Pumps or equipment repair processes and procedures within a manufacturing environment is preferrable.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
- Interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with both internal colleagues and external customers.
- Able to complete work on time and to required specifications.
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively to meet both company & customer expectations on orders
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office and navigate in ERP systems
