ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an Experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master that will lead the workstream to migrate these processes to their new destination in a timely manner. This involves coordination with multiple programmes of work, ensuring that design activities are approved, managing dependencies and risk, vendor liaison and coordination and liaison with a diverse stakeholder group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mediating the general conflict of goals between the development team and product owner
- Provision of support with release planning, project tracking and monitoring
- Helping the team to get rid of impediments. Reporting metrics and implementing information radiators for the team as catalysts for change.
- Contributing to and supporting to write or adapt product visions, write or split user stories, order product backlog items with the product owner.
- Manage risks and issues proactively, track, mitigate and escalate, where required.
- Effectively communicating project status, issues, and solutions to stakeholders (Project and Program management, team members).
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritise work.
- Leading Agile Scrum teams and driving Agile Delivery processes.
- Sizing and ranking user stories and tasks.
- Reflecting Agile and Scrum values to the team and continuously improving process.
- Continuing learning regarding Agile and divulging information team members regarding process. Fostering the developer team’s self-organisation.
- Release planning in coordination with other Agile teams for overall sprint planning
- Maintaining tools (Story board, Action board, charts, backlogs, etc.).
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in project management of system / infrastructure / Cloud design, implementation and/or operations.
- 7+ years Agile SCRUM experience particularly when used in a globally diverse environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Data & Analytics domain experience, ideally in financial industry
- Proven experience in managing significant risks and problem resolution
- experience in managing multidisciplinary teams (facilitating collaborative efforts among Data Analysts, Engineers, Architects, DevOps Specialists and business to achieve shared goals)
