The Project Management Office (PMO) is dedicated to delivering a wide range of Professional Services. Our expertise includes but is not limited to IT Networking and Security, Datacentre, Cloud computing and transformational projects. As a part of the broader Professional Services department, the PMO collaborates closely with a highly skilled technical team to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. This collaborative approach allows us to tackle complex challenges and drive successful project outcomes You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of small to medium projects, in line with agreed time, cost, and quality objectives, while effectively managing risks, changes, and customer expectations. You will also be managing projects independently while being supported and guided by Senior Project Managers, Portfolio Managers and PMO Manager.
What you’ll be doing 🎯- Manage multiple customer projects end‑to‑end, including planning, delivery, reporting and communication
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
- Create project plans (scope, timelines, resources, budgets) and follow boxxe governance
- Lead cross‑functional project teams and coordinate internal resources and external partners
- Manage changes to scope, schedule and cost, and keep risks and issues actively controlled
- Produce clear project documentation and present progress, financials and risks to senior stakeholders
- Act as the main customer contact, providing regular updates and managing expectations
- Track and report accurate progress, including % complete, resource usage and revenue forecasts
- Conduct post‑project reviews to identify improvements and lessons learned
- Support new initiatives, process improvements, and provide team cover as needed
- Mentor and support Project Coordinators and collaborate with Senior PMs/Portfolio Managers
- Complete ad‑hoc PMO tasks and ensure compliance with all boxxe and Safety/Health/Environmental policies
- Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies (e.g.. PRINCE2)
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale IT projects (£500k+)
- Confident communicator, including presenting at board level
- Solid networking, infrastructure and general IT delivery experience
- Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels and managing expectations
- Experience transitioning IT projects into live service
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks
- Hands‑on experience delivering complex IT projects to time, cost and quality
- Proficient with ticketing systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello)
- Experience leading project teams and owning project planning, structure and financials.
- Strong documentation skills
