About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility of larger, more complex projects. This includes leading internal business change initiatives, or delivering high profile projects to external customers, utilising internal and external resources.
What you will be working on

Accountable to lead the successful delivery of Projects and/or Releases from initiation to completion, on time, within scope and to budget, following best practice standards, in line with department guidelines

Understand the business drivers, benefits and project objectives through clearly defined success criteria, ensuring these are the core focus of the delivery

Ensure a thorough project initiation, setting the project up for a successful delivery

Establish and maintain appropriate project governance and controls, project gates, documentation, reports and management information

Manage the project budget through initial estimates, tracking and up to date forecasts

Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business, technical and 3rd party stakeholders, ensuring project delivery is fit-for-purpose and meet business expectations

Identify and pro actively manage risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate

Motivate the team and create a project environment that stimulates a positive ‘can do’ approach

Ensure that the project is accepted into operations teams and service transition is successful

A Pro-active and engaged member of the Group Transformation function, supporting others in the team and contributing to continual improvement initiatives

For new product projects, manage the RFP process involving the relevant PXC stakeholders for product, supplier and implementation partner selection
What will make you successful in your role?
Must have:

Experience of managing simplification / consolidation, transformation and migration projects
-
Full lifecycle software delivery PM
-
Project Management tools e.g. MS project
-
Significant PM experience
Be great to also have:

PM/Pgm qualification (Prince2 / MSP)

3rd party partner / vendor management experience
