We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact initiative focused on improving inventory visibility and fulfillment processes within a global organization. This is a full-time contract role (40 hours/week) for approximately 4 months, with an expected start in May.
You will oversee a project centered on enhancing order fulfillment capabilities across multiple locations, including the integration of new parcel shipping options and system improvements within an ERP environment.
This role requires close coordination with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, working across a globally distributed team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple regions (UK, US, and Asia)
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners
- Drive improvements in inventory visibility and fulfillment workflows
- Support integration of parcel shipping solutions and system enhancements
- Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders
- Strong background in IT Project Management, ideally within supply chain or operations-focused environments
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, particularly:
- Pick, Pack, Ship workflows
- Inventory management and fulfillment operations
- Experience working with or alongside ERP systems (Oracle experience is a plus, not required)
- Proven ability to manage external vendors and distributed teams
- Experience delivering projects involving fulfillment sites or inventory visibility
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment
- Strong organizational and execution capabilities
- Comfortable navigating evolving requirements and complex systems
- Ideally based in the United Kingdom, with preference near Cambridge
- Primarily remote, with occasional travel as needed to headquarters in Cambridge
- Must be able to work UK business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work during key deployment phases
