We are currently seeking a Project Manager I, IDEA (Independent Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) and Endpoint Adjudication) to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Project Manager I in IDEA at ICON, you will oversee and manage Event/Endpoint Adjudication, and Eligibility projects related to drug, device and other types of clinical trials. Your role will involve coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and aligning project outcomes with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leading and managing IDEA projects, including developing effective and efficient procedures compliant with regulatory authority guidelines, develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Collaborating with teams across data science, medical monitoring, biostats, ClinOps and others to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Facilitating communication between project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Supporting the integration of emerging technologies and innovative solutions, ensuring that projects contribute to advancing organizational objectives.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in innovation management, data science, project management, or a related field is preferred, with relevant experience in managing innovation or technology-driven projects.
  • Experience in project management and overseeing projects with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a background in data management or technology systems being advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to driving innovation and achieving project success.
