JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, the IMS Product Specialist (Technical Seller) is responsible for collaborating with broader UL COU Sellers, other IMS internal teams towards selling complex cybersecurity technical products and/or services. The IMS Product Specialist typically specializes in a number of UL Cybersecurity offerings, solutions, or services that are considered highly specialized and strategic in nature. Provides technical details of ULs services for use in sales presentations.

  • Partners with Account Managers or Outside Sales team as opportunities are limited to close the sale.
  • Develops and presents sales proposals, systems solutions and close complex technical sales opportunities as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of UL's Cybersecurity offerings, solutions, and services and is able to communicate value proposition to clients effectively.
  • Manages relationship with customers, helping to build sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Collaborate with COU Sellers towards the management of the sales pipeline, close opportunities towards achieving quarterly quota / targets.
  • Must have strong Cybersecurity skillset and knowledge
  • Must have strong sales / technical sales experience
  • Industry experience in one of the following is good to have: Automotive, Healthcare, Industrial, Functional Safety, Commercial (Consumer IoT), Government, Security Evaluations / Chip and Component Security, Mobile Security, Security Assurance, Terminal Security.
  • Understanding and knowledge of regional cybersecurity standards, guidelines, regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years' related experience working knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity Technical Sales / Presales.
  • Recognized as a cybersecurity subject matter expert by peers, customers, and industry leaders.
  • Understanding customers on a deep level with the ability to deliver a delightful experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of company policies and sales processes.
  • The ability to gain the cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior-level management.
  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in an Engineering field or a related discipline plus generally five years of directly related experience.
  • Ability to present to customers and communicate effectively and concisely.
  • Some business travel and work outside of the office required.
