We are looking to fill a K-level management position at the Auburn/Fredrickson sites with a qualified candidate that is passionate about leading Boeing into the future.

Qualified candidates will be considered for leadership roles on teams that design and maintain tooling assets. Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly are essential. A solid understanding of Tool Engineering processes and tools is needed. We are looking for leaders who naturally live the Boeing Values & Behaviors, have a high sense of curiosity, use creativity when approaching challenges, and have an insatiable desire for improvement.

Technical leadership and aptitude are essential for success in this role along with the people leadership skills to develop and inspire your team to reach a shared goal and vision. Strong candidates will have demonstrated success in developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers, as well as strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to take initiative, and an ability to work across multiple functions to lead the development and implementation of production system assets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams responsible for the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the production system.

  • Develop and maintain working together relationships with MBU partners, internal stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. Leverage network to seek broad input on key projects and initiatives.

  • Clearly communicate status of projects both internally and externally.

  • Manage, develop and motivate employees to achieve their best as individuals and as a team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • 5+ years of experience as a Tool Engineering, or equivalent

  • ABET accredited degree

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in a production environment

  • Experience in leading or managing teams

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Manufacturing Engineering experience

Pay and Benefits:

Summary pay range: $151,300 – $204,700
