Position and communicate the value and capabilities of our products and features to target audiences.

Burp Suite technology is trusted by over 16,000 organisations worldwide, including Microsoft, Amazon, and NASA. As we expand our suite of products and push into new enterprise markets, we’re looking for an exceptional product marketer to enhance our product positioning and drive market success.

The opportunity:

  • We have market-leading technology and over 80,000 paying customers, with significant ambitions to scale in the coming years.
  • We’re on the hunt for our first product marketer - a self-starter and diligent executor who is excited to help us maximise this fantastic growth opportunity.
  • You will have the chance to define the role and influence the direction of our product marketing efforts from the ground up in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate technical details into benefits and stories that captivate and educate users.
  • Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market and resonates with our target audiences.
  • Plan the launch of new products and releases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for generating demand and growing product awareness.
  • Engage with customers and sales teams to gather feedback and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Create high-impact content and collateral that articulates product benefits and value, tailored to meet the needs of both customers and our internal teams.
  • Lead competitive analysis to understand market trends and effectively position our products.
  • Develop metrics to measure the impact of our narratives and positioning, aligning them with business goals to drive sustained product growth.

Requirements

About you:

  • You have a proven track record in product marketing within the technology or cybersecurity sector.
  • You possess a blend of business and technical acumen that enables you to guide product decisions and marketing execution.
  • You are adept at seeing the big picture and providing actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are second nature to you, allowing you to thrive in cross-functional teams.
  • You are proactive, driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • You have a passion for all things tech. You might have worked in web security before or in another software development environment, and thrive on the challenge that this space brings.
  • You’re a team player who views achievements through the lens of collective success rather than as individual accomplishments.
  • You're eager to learn and grow and enjoy new challenges. You proactively seek feedback and can quickly adapt to new ways of working.
  • You're comfortable in fast-paced settings, making data-driven decisions to steer projects to success.
  • Maybe you’ve worked in a startup or scale up business before and flourish in this environment.

Benefits

Why join us?

  • We foster an inclusive and high-performance culture with a focus on work-life balance.
  • We believe in rewarding people generously and offer a competitive salary based on individual skills and contribution.
  • We host regular team events and have fantastic summer and winter parties.
  • You’ll be part of a humble, supportive, and fun team that values collaboration, humour, and a strong sense of belonging.
  • We offer share options, 8% employer pension contribution, life assurance, income protection, private medical insurance, and 25 days holiday (plus public holidays).
  • Our working hours are flexible, with core hours from 9am to 4pm
  • We work best when we are together on site
