You provide software and applications expertise, and be responsible for implementation of the solutions.
How you will contribute
You will oversee the planning and execution of software and applications. To do so, you will manage an internal team and partner with external suppliers and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of our business goals find and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future. You will support programs to implement regional and global software and application strategies, offer input to financial planning and controls for software and applications on a regional and global level, collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments, explores opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings, and ensure that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Innovation at Mondelez. As Product Manager, R&D Ideation, you will be at the forefront of leveraging Artificial Intelligence and leading-edge technology to build products that transform how the business identifies opportunities, makes decisions, and drives its growth agenda.
Acting as the Voice of the Customer, you will own the product vision, strategy, and end-to-end value delivery across the full product lifecycle - from ideation through to design, build, deploy, operate, and retirement. You will think boldly and creatively about how technology can power the innovation ideation process, ensuring the business stays ahead of the curve.
Purpose & Accountabilities
  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy, clearly articulating how the product fits within the broader ecosystem and maximizes value in line with business objectives

  • Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to create products that support decision-making, prioritisation, opportunity identification, and business growth

  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with customers and end users to deeply understand their needs and translate these into future product increments

  • Manage and continuously prioritise the product backlog, ensuring the most valuable customer requirements are delivered first

  • Oversee all development stages of the product lifecycle, including planning, refinement, review, and sprint ceremonies

  • Motivate and inspire the Product Team to understand customer needs and identify the best solutions for delivering customer value

  • Work closely with the Business Analyst to develop and design business scenarios and use cases

  • Ensure security compliance and risk management across the entire product scope

Key Outputs & Deliverables
Strategy & Roadmap
  • Implementation of short and long-term detailed product vision, strategy, and roadmap

  • Management of a prioritized product backlog and product dependencies based on overall strategy, business objectives, and customer/end user needs

Performance & Metrics
  • Continuous improvements driven by regular product performance reports, including adoption rates, customer survey results, and service performance metrics

  • Product performance reporting: value delivered, service performance, and ROI

  • Product team performance metrics: deployment frequency and lead time for changes

  • Product utilization and satisfaction rates, including Net Promoter Score (NPS)

  • Stakeholder feedback surveys

Key Interactions & Stakeholders
  • Acts as the primary communicator and link between all stakeholders - customers, end users, the business community, development teams, system and/or solution architects, and the CIO office - aligning product goals with business objectives and enterprise architecture strategy

  • Coaches team members (e.g., Full Stack Engineers, Business Analysts) to focus on business value by delivering product increments in a flexible working environment

  • Coordinates with other Product Owners and Product Line Managers on product dependencies

  • Coordinates with Platform Team members (e.g., Platform Owner) on requirements for product delivery

  • Oversees relationships with selected vendors and suppliers involved in the delivery of development, testing, and support services

Skills & Experience
Functional
  • Strong understanding of the Project Portfolio Management products and software delivery lifecycle

  • Up to date with the latest market trends, including AI and emerging technologies, and how these translate into product opportunities and challenges

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional, diverse teams to achieve results

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for developing product use cases and determining associated business impact

Technical
  • Strong understanding of requirements elicitation and management techniques

  • Knowledgeable about product performance measures and metrics

  • Experience applying relevant Agile frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, XP)

  • Familiarity with software delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
