The Supply Chain Technology team supports the successful deployment and adoption of new WMS products across the enterprise. As a Fortune #1 company, our work impacts millions of associates globally. What you'll do:

Define and maintain architecture roadmap, technical solutions for new and existing functionality for the products.

Take ownership over architecture qualities of the end-to-end distributed applications.

Deliver architectural services, including guidance and conceptual design as well as technical and process innovations.

Providing technical leadership to the organization, guiding the development of new products and solutions, and ensuring that the organization's technical capabilities align with its strategic goals.

Working closely with senior leadership and other architects to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and promote technical excellence across the organization.

Providing technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering teams to help them deliver high-quality products and solutions.

Design complex systems which are scalable and fault tolerant. You will reason about trade-offs (timeliness/accuracy/resource usage) of multiple algorithmic solutions and to highlight the difference in product outcomes.

Drive automation using more adoption and maturity on the CICD stage gates for the applications.

Drive implementation of telemetry features based on the domain requirements to improve the overall operational excellence of the application.

Investigate the latest technology and build quick Proof of Concept functionalities to address future business needs.

Preparing, improving, and introducing new approaches/methodologies/tools and techniques within the pillar

Work to meet delivery commitments of feature content throughout the whole Delivery Lifecycle/Sprints

Excellent ability to communicate complex technical ideas with clarity and precision in both written and verbal modes across multiple functional teams.

Create and capture best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).

Provide guidance and drive engineering excellence covering site reliability, alerts & monitoring, product health and portability.

Builds strong and trusting relationships with the business stakeholders with more engagement, collaboration, and facetime beyond the 4ITB meetings.
What you'll bring:

Deep working knowledge of all aspects of Cloud native distributed system development. Azure/ GCP/ WCNP preferred.

Hands on experience with building micro-services and event driven architecture and distributed systems using appropriate design patterns.

Risk analysis methodologies - Cost Analysis; Business objectives; Classification of requirements; Domain Knowledge; User stories concepts; Functional / Non-Functional Requirements.

Scoping and Estimation - To explore relevant products/solutions from an existing repertoire, which can address business/technical needs. Assess gaps/ updates/ modifications between the customer/business expectations and the existing product/solutions (in case of agile methodology, for the iteration). Classify the requirements into applicable types (For example - Functional/Non-Functional, Derived/Imposed/Emergent etc.). Anticipate the solution risks / issues during requirements gathering phase, inform relevant stakeholders and recommend corrective steps. Contribute to the creation of user stories for component/application/complex (For agile methodology). Conduct scoping of epics/user stories within span, decide on tradeoffs under guidance as needed.

To assist in creation of simple, modular, extensible, and functional design for the product/solution in adherence to the requirements. Evaluate trade-offs while designing across multiple components in a product based on the business requirements. Convert HLD to create detailed design using mock screens, pseudo codes and detailed functional logic of the modules for specific modules / components of a product. Understand nuances of designing for disaster recovery. Design and create MVP to clarify requirements and design and uncover risks. Independently refine the MVP design for early defects and revised customer requirements. -
Coding standards and guidelines; Coding languages (E.g. Java, JavaScript, Python etc.), frameworks (E.g. Spring framework etc.), Platforms (E.g. Microsoft Azure etc.); Quality, Safety and Security (PCI etc.) standards; Emerging tools and technologies; Telemetry; CI / CD; Code Management Tools; SDLC; Secure SDL frameworks and tools.

To select appropriate frameworks, platforms and environments for software coding/configuration and scripting. Guide the team on coding patterns, languages, and frameworks in line with evolving trends in the industry (Ex: reactive vs. imperative etc.) and drive scalability and security. Drive Implementation of telemetry features by determining data/metrics requirement within the domain. Support ad-hoc reviews of software code to ensure baseline mitigations for known risks. Create/configure minimalistic code for entire product/system and ensure the product is meeting business requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availability, and high-scalability needs. Conduct code reviews for code developed by the team. Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements. Drive creation of scripts for automation of repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), Testing or any other process across the domain. Drive security of the Code Base and ensure that no security violations are introduced.

To translate customer requirements into test strategy. Determine the testing tools (E.g. - Automation - Selenium, Agile - Jira, etc.), domains, environments, and test types to be employed to achieve testing objectives. Select, introduce, and implement various tools for testing. Identify scope and method of testing for each requirement. Ensure that the test cases cover all the test scenarios (E.g., for functionality, performance, security, integration, data migration and accessibility) for the product/solution requirements. Drive execution of test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the entire product utilizing relevant test automation techniques. Ensure that the test cases cover all the test scenarios (E.g. for functionality, performance, security, integration, data migration and accessibility) for the product/solution requirements. Ensure code coverage for relevant functional area.

To provide support to relevant stakeholders to drive adherence to performance metrics of the program for different projects. Take appropriate measures when required to bring program health on track in case of adversity. Provide inputs to improve the throughput, efficiency, and effectiveness of programs. Manage CICD through tracking and reviewing deployment schedules and guiding team throughout the process.

To conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause corrective action (RCCA) to identify the origin of defects/ performance gaps and prevent them from recurring. Track registered issues for the product/solution and prioritize them for resolution. Measure usability of the product/solution as per customer/business requirement after defect fixing and plugging test gaps. Analyze the issues and plan a series of steps which potentially includes reconfiguration, integration, removal, or addition of application components to enhance the application's functionality, usability and security.

To define the metrics to be tracked for effective monitoring of application performance. Lead application maintenance (corrective, adaptive, perfective) and re-engineering plans and activities and the development of documentation and training material. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
