Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Coordinator to join our Pricing Team at Car Benefit Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing competitive pricing strategies while collaborating with our manufacturers and internal teams. You will play an essential role in delivering accurate pricing for all our products whilst meeting company and client expectations.

The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum. This is a full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday. The role operates on a hybrid work schedule, comprising three days at our office in Bury and two days from home. Please note that due to our extensive induction program, a higher expectation of office attendance will be required during the initial month.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in depth understanding of CBSs product portfolio, car benefit efficiencies and commercial structure.
  • Prepare quarterly pricing proposals for your assigned manufacturers. This involves the manipulation of data within Excel.
  • Provide analysis and support for Manufacturer reviews that maximizes CBS return whilst aligning with the manufacturer’s strategy including attending reviews where necessary.
  • Analyse the profitability of each car, ensuring the price points proposed meet the required return.
  • Meticulous management of Manufacturer discount terms to ensure accurate pricing and minimise financial risk to CBS.
  • Liaise with manufacturer contacts to agree price points.
  • Provide overviews of the price points to internal departments.
  • Manage workload of own assigned manufacturers as well as working closely with the other Pricing Coordinators and Pricing Manager to cross-check each other’s work.
  • Resolve pricing discrepancies, liaising with internal departments and the client for a solution.
  • Assist the Network Development and Driver Development Teams with any ad-hoc client data requests or tools to support the clients scheme growth and success.
  • Monthly update and issue of pricing choice lists.
  • Create bespoke pricing choice lists for key client groups.
  • Analyse and track market movements in used car resale prices.
  • Document processes and maintain the library of pricing information booklets.
  • Provide support to the team assisting with ad-hoc queries to ensure our client deadlines are on target.
  • Proactively look to provide smarter ways of working and generating ideas on business best practice.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Numerical based degree (Desirable)

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
