Application Engineer
Job purpose
To provide technical and process responsibility across a range of applications. This will be supporting Group colleagues and final customers.
Responsibilities:
- Technically review and respond to RFQ's, helping our team to specify our equipment and give an accurate price
- Provide technical solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and challenges in the bulk solids and powders industries.
- Support our Global & EMEA Sales teams by providing technical insights and guidance, to achieve team sales targets
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our applications, staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in the bulk solids and powders industries
- Working with Technology Centre, conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers and sales teams
- Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to ensure our offerings are competitive and meet the needs of the market and industry
- Utilising and maintaining all relevant sales tools – CRM & CPQ.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Manager, Application Engineer or similar role in the Powder Process industry / Powder Technology.
- Good understanding of the Powder Process, thanks to contacts with customers, or commissioning experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and understand competition technology and pricing strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
