This job is responsible for delivering commercial services for one or more segments across multiple geographies. As such, this person will be the MGS Commercial Solutions’ main point of contact for the Indirect Buying community in their assigned scope and area of expertise providing process coordination and support.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Act as a central point of contact in MGS-CS for queries related to commercial processes.
Work to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the existing systems, processes & documentation (within the team as well as across Teams).
Collaborate with the internal stakeholders to deliver daily operations as well as improvement solutions.
Support Senior Specialists, Team Coordinators & Line Managers in operational scope and projects – when requested.
Drive commercial processes and take part in team/cross-team projects within operational area.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for process issues and escalations around area of responsibility.
Track metrics and KPIs as defined in Commercial Service Catalogue.
Provide compliance with commercial governance process in the areas of responsibility.
Supports delivering business objectives and strategies within assigned scope.
Be engaged in additional activities such as Health Wellbeing, volunteering initiatives.
What are we looking for?
University degree preferred in: Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Economics, International Business and Procurement.
1 + year of professional experience in a similar position. procurement, supply chain, logistics, finance departments.
Good knowledge and understanding of core commercial (procurement) competencies.
Excellent communication and problem – solving skills.
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.
Fluent English (Spanish is nice to have).
